I have found when any of my ratties have chocked, they seem to go off food for awhile (maybe due to sore throat). Make sure you watch the eating pattern as he/she is still very small.

Yes, I gave him some alone time with mom about 2 hrs after the incident.
He ate some apple sauce from my finger, too.
(I was VERY careful though)
He took a big nap and played for almost an hour and went back to sleep.

My cam is messed though so I can't take pics.
