Eeeek Lilith has been Degloved!

She is doing really well today with her tail...I didn't give her any metacam because she was exhibiting no signs of discomfort. Her eye on the other hand...blech, definitely an infection. I am flushing and putting antibiotic ointment in it as well...poor Lil.

Are you considering anaesthetizing her and having her eye flushed again? Is there anyone else that could do it while Dr. Munn is getting better? (Hopefully he is!)

For infections we use the drops/ointment, and baytril...by the time Munn comes back we'll know if it was just an infection, or if her eye needs to be flushed again. It's usually every few months and she was in not that long ago really (a month?) so it might not be anything trapped under her 3rd eyelid.

It's actually just the right size from what came off...still weird. After the pics I had to flush it. :sick2:

She's doing great...she's cuddled up to Kelly in a hammock, I can touch it, and examine it gently, with no issues, there's no red streaks, coolness or heat, etc...it looks very good

Lilith's eye is soo much better as is her tail bit. Its shorter, funny looking, dry and with "strings"?

It would be so hard not to go in and cut that dried part off! The 'strings' do look, ummmm, interesting. Wonder what they are? Tendons & ligaments?
