I always ask my vet to call it into CVS for me, I get the vibramycin, which is doxycycline the pink syrupy stuff. Has a significantly LONG shelf life.

The injectable forms, Baytril included, will always have a much longer shelf life even when mixed with liquids.
Vibramycin is extremely difficult to find in Toronto, the only vet that I know who has had it in the past is Links and it costs a fortune.
I believe there was some sort of ban on bringing it into Canada or something, so they have to get it shipped up from the states.
With the Baytril, the injectable form tastes far more foul than the pills, so you have to have something that the rats really love to get them to take it orally.

Is the injectible Baytril stronger than the oral baytril?

It comes in only one strength - 50mg. I can make a suspension stronger than that by adding less liquid to the pills. It lasts a long time, though.
