NOW he looks like a 16 month old rat with a progressive respiratory condition. :joy: he will always breathe hard sadly, there's no cure,there's just managing this horrible condition. he looks fantastic and would probably love him a Womans!

I laugh every time I see your hospital cage...that cage has been everywhere, its better traveled than I am!! I am still keeping an eye out for another one :laugh4:

Thanks to you and your being up early even on weekends! he is so active. I am so happy to see him running around on me. He is a marking fool again. I had trail marks all over my shirt last night and I didnt mind one bit since he has had such a rough road.

I cannot tell you how much I LOVE that cage! OMG it is amazing. I have put it to so much use it is unreal. Spays, neuters, Cobby, and a few other sick ones. I just love it. Every thing about it is the perfect size. I can watch them closely in it. keep it with me on the couch. Today will be his 3rd day since his shot so from here out we will do dex every 3 days unless there is an issue.

I cannot explain how happy this makes me. I have had such a hard time letting him go. I see his little face and his actions and none of it was a rat that was ready to leave. He is enjoying his one on one time with us and sadly it will make it all that much harder to lose him i am so much more attached to him now that we have had this time together.

I am actively seeking a girl for cobby. I want one around her age but he is a hormonal boys so she must be submissive. My little Olivia is just that. I figured in the mean time i can give him some play dates with her!

A face that means business! LOL

I guess I will try the rescue see if they can take a girl to my vet to have her spayed and I will go from there. THey use the crazy vet that destroyed my boys so i wont allow them to spay her for me.

It is hard to believe I was so close to putting him to sleep twice. He was totally loving meeting Olivia! I think I will let them hang out while I do my homework tomorrow!

He hasnt been around another rat in over two months. So this was a major thing for him and us. I am so happy to see this take place. I need a girl asap~

Isn't that wonderful that he likes his new acquaintance! He will really enjoy his dates with her. How does she feel about him? Does she live with other girls? Would he possibly be able to be intro'd to that group?

I wish but he is very hormonal and beat his brothers up bad. The 5 of the other rexzillas are happy as cn be with him gone. She is from my group of 29 and her 3 sisters are in that group so I wont pull her out. Tomorrow I will bring a couple of the girls from that group to see him since she was scared out there. I wont intro him to a group he is to mean to boys so I am hoping to find some girls to spay for him.

I sent the app in to get either one or two new girls that I will have spayed and hopefully live with him. I dont know how the rescue will feel with my large groups LOL i think i am nuts sometimes but hey, we all need a passion or obsession i guess. I should know something in a few days I am guessing? I dont know I dont do rescues after that fiasco with that damn puppy.

To be looking for girlfriends for Cobby is surreal. I cannot believe it. I was devastated two months ago over him being alone. I never seen an possible good outcome for him or his life.

Ironically these are the same two girls I was gonna get months ago but I took the ones from Eagle instead and now here they are months later coming home to me! I am hoping to arrange a meet up next week. to do the paper/pay. I am trying to see if she will drop them off at my vet since she will be right down the road that morning to have them spayed. Then I will take them home from there.

I hope so. She is dropping them off friday at my vet to be spayed and I will pick them up when I get off work. I still think it is funny. I did not want anymore rats LOL but I will for him to be happy during his time with me. He seems to love his girls so far. He has 3 with him tonight.
