Our emergency vet sucks. I don't think they are rat friendly at all. If you can't see Dr. Gerena, go to King Animal Hospital. They are the next best thing, but a lot more pricey.

For some reason I thought this was the case. I should be able to see Dr. Gerena tomorrow after work, but if not I'll call King Animal Hospital. Thanks.
 
Would the draining not indicate an abscess over a tumour although there could still be a tumour under it? I'm really interested in this thread as one of my mice now has a lump on the side of her face. I was hoping it would open and drain but nothing and tumour removal on a mouse the age of mine really isn't an option. I wonder if these zymbal gland tumours can be found in mice as well as her face looks just like the poor little rattie in the first picture.
Keep posting on Buddy's progress, I'll be thinking about him. :heart:
 
I just got home from the Vet. He thought it was another tumour, so we had to have him pts so he wouldn't suffer. :cry3:
