I came home last night to find my little rat man limping. He is able to walk and he didn't react badly when I touched the little foot in question.
From what I can tell, he must have stepped on something... possibly the carpet tack that he and Ben managed to free up while destroying my carpet...
I sprayed the bottom of his foot with bactine (and told him that it does not taste good so he needn't bother licking it...
!!!)
I can't find any puncture wounds and there is no swelling. I will monitor it over the weekend and if he doesn't show any improvement by Monday, I will take him to the vet.
Anyone have any other ideas on how I can help my little fur face? Toast with preserves seems to be helping the little psyche but I thought I would ask you guys too.
Thanks,
