supposedly they just pop out from what I am hearing from another owner, but I don't like the idea myself, and would rather have it removed.

Eli's meds finally came in, so I am off bright and early *yawn* to pick them up since the clinic closes at 11:30 am today until Wednesday. Dr. Munn wanted me to know that if I had any issues to email him, and he is checking them often. I have the feeling that if a real true rat emergency came up, Dr Munn would see me over the holidays. *whew*

Eli was out last night (he runs on his own separate from the others) and he got huffy and rubby but never got antsy with me. I was able to pick him up and put him on my shoulder to go back to his cage.

He's looking much better now.

I've had quite a few of those on my double rexes. My vet removed those that size, the little ones she just basically pulled them out with her fingers..ouch!!

There was no popping off of this one, so it might not be the keratoacanthoma...it might be something else for Lilith...her luck of course!

Aw, what a sweet darling Eli is! His eye actually doesn't seem to be shrinking - of course, nor is it growing. If anything, it looks like the muscles around the eye, in the eyelid and such, are atrophying because he doesn't need to squint or move his eye more.

Snuzzes to Lilith and Eli - I hope he doesn't get too huffy!

So I cried happy tears this morning.

Last night I tried Eli out with the rest of his cagemates and it went well. He came to visit us all often on the bed, and i watched for any behaviours I should worry about. He did rub his paws a little beside Declan's cage but no attacking anything, no crazy mad movements, just typical territorial behaviour that I see in some of my girls as well. :)

When I went to put them all away I couldn't find Eli. He was tucked into my blanket sleeping peacefully so I asked him if he wanted to stay out with me. He yawned in reply.

So for the first few hours I was a bit nervous, and watched my hands and face near him, but he didn't huff, or get weird at all. After that I just gave up and relaxed. He used to like to sleep near me, cuddled up to my stomach or curled up in the blankets, but now he likes to sleep ON me. I sleep on my side and he hops up and sleeps along my ribs or over my hip. I shift to the other side and he waits for me to settle down and then hops back up for his interrupted snooze :giggle: I lay on my back and he sleeps on my chest like a little pink dog, with his head down on his front feet. It was wonderful
