It's actually her head tilted. The walking is most likely because she's a ruby eyed rat, and they need to focus in on their surroundings.
If their vision is screwed up because of a tilt- it most likely affects their navigation and balance. I'm treating her tonight with a wash cloth and warm water.
I need to hold her down,seeing as the abscess is just about right under her neck. I'm guessing that hurts like hell. She's still a pretty small rat,and this is her first time experiencing a wound.
I'll treat her first,and if she's still tilting her head I will take her to the vet immediatley.

Both ruby eyed rats that have lived with me have never had the vision problems you're describing. It sounds like something else is affecting your little one, possibly a PT. I also strongly urge you to get a vet appointment ASAP.
