what i used to make a nipple and bottle dropper is this from my old post:

well i found that i had a kit of dri-tail for hamsters laying around in home so i got the eye dropper witch is pretty small and works well. i also put a cap at the end of it to make it smaller so the babies get the milk better(the cap comes from a soft claws kit)




and so far milk is getting into both babies and doing well on it.

I dont know about baby rats, but i've hand reared baby birds before, and to get them to eat we put the food on the edge of their mouths and that persuaded them to open their beaks and feed properly

Good for now. I have problems with feeding. But they are good. I give milk every 1-2hr

Are they pooping ok when you masage or wipe their butts? (This is very very important)

Yes. They are pooping. I use my finger to masage stomach and area around anus.

I put them on top of my TV. There is good temperature. About 26-28 Celsius

Sounds good. Do you know why the mom died?

I dont know really. One friend have Boa Constrictor and snake die and he give me rats. Male and female. She was pregnant, and babies come on world. 4-5hr after birth mom die.

Yes it is hard. I go on job with them and give milk every 1-2hr. I set alarm to wake me every 2hr to give milk. Huh i really want these babies to live. When i see them first time i was sooo i dont know how to tell you people what i feel in that moment. Now i am everything they have and i know they need me. And i know we will be happy together when this danger period finish.
