What is love?
I can tell you that for me, it was not someone but rather some "things" that just happened to come into my life a week ago, 7 babies were dropped off at our door by a little boy whose Mom had told him to leave them in a back field somewhere to die, this little boy knew enough that we would do our very best to help these little babies as much as we possibly could to keep them alive, which we did, but sadly love was just not enough, the 7th baby died today. I am deeply saddened, I knew these little babies needed so much more than we were able to give them, I just hope that they knew they were loved in the short time they were with us, because they indeed were loved, I had never owned a mice or rat ever, but there was something about these little guys that you couldnt help but not love them, they could not see us, because their eyes hadnt opened, but I sure wish and hope that they could feel and sense the love of our touch. We hadnt imagined that they wouldnt make it, till they were atleast able to get more better care than we could provide, but I knew yesterday morning that they did not look good, and they were really struggling, I hope that they had something to remember in their time here that was not all bad, they deserved so much better things out of life, than my friend and I could provide.. I hope that they are atleast in a better place, their life should not have been dealt the way it was, if only their "momma" had been able to feed them herself, anyways I just wanted to thank all of you for your information and advice, as well as your well wishes, I do appreciate everything that you've done to help these "little babies" you are a great bunch of people, so thanks for everything, and again Im sorry that I have to give you the sad news, Im also sorry for not being able to help them anymore than I could, or did, they were unwanted, helpless, little souls, who got a ****** start to life, but they were indeed loved...
