what is a normal wight gain for little girl rats?
I have two babies approx 6weeks old this is Wednesday and the bigger of the two has gained about 10grams since Sunday.
Sunday Diamond = 81grams today she weighs 91grams maybe 92-93 she was squirming!
The other will not sit still long enough to get weighed but I will keep trying.

Right now I am feeding a mix
I have mixed up some feed consisting of:
Dry rolled oats
Organic puffed brown rice
plain cheerios
3 grain cereal (barley, wheat germ and something else forget I think spelt...)
Dry multi grain pasta and veggie pasta

and mix a small amount of:
dried cranberries and currents
roasted unsalted soy nuts
unsalted sunflower seeds in the shell
roasted unsalted peanuts and walnuts

they also get a feed of veggies daily somthing differnt each day(frozen thawed peas, frozen thawed corn, broccoli, baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, mustard & turnip greens) and bit yogurt cpl times a week with either oatmeal or baby cereal mixed in, and boiled egg once or twice a week and a few pieces of dog kibble a week.

They love the veggies, they eat the rolled oats, puffed brown rice, cheerios sunflower seeds and soy nuts out of the mix and I think they leave the rest...they do like the yogurt, egg and kibble but I try not to feed too much of these.

Soooo...is this weight gain normal? I would imaging when they are babies they grow fast like other animals so maybe this is good gain...I just don't want to over do it or under do it...

I know I should try to get them on a Lab block...I will go looking for some this weekend.

BTW I would also like to say thank you to everyone that has helped me out this past week...you are all awsome!

I've never weighed my rats when young... but it seems normal to me?
I would definitely work at getting them on a block though... Your mix is loaded with protein, fat and sugar.
