Yes, I get .06 cc at 56 grams. She's sooo young for meds though
IF she's not quite that young, she may have Failure to Thrive and will stay small and stunted all her life.

Tell me ALL her symptoms again?

She's sneezing, and her breathing is squeeky. She's been like this for about 2-3 weeks.

We tried amoxicillin, but that did nothing. Now this.

She has NO proprhyn anywhere, is happy, comes out quickly, is eating a ton, drinking, etc.

She plays when she comes out and bruxes too....

She's a little angel and I feel so bad for her.

Amoxi just isn't recommended for respiratory as most of it is because of a myco flareup and its not effective with myco.

Can you just start your wee one on .02 cc's of baytril? I would say the doxy but I think she might need the stronger med since she's been noisy for 2 weeks plus. Plus its a smaller dose to get into such a tiny baby.

If you don't notice any improvement in 3-4 days then add in the doxy to make the combo.

What a tiny little thing. Could she be a dwarf? Anyone know what baby dwarfs look like?

We don't have proper dwarfs here in Ontario. Looks like FTT to me, but it just means she could stay very small all her life.

I don't think that she's failing to grow, she has doubled in size in one week's time.

The vet recommended the combo, so that is what I'm giving her, unless you can think of a reason to go against his judgement. It's hard for me to disagree with him, he's an animal doctor, but if he's off then he's off....

Do the dosage amounts sound right though?

You very well may be right, that it's FTT, however, we'll just have to wait and see.

I hope she pulls through though, she's such a little darling.

It is very frustrating, as I value all the great advice from all of you on the forum here, and when I went to the vet I asked for baytril or the combo with doxy and he was persistent with the amoxi. NOW a couple hundred dollars and weeks of her suffering later, I finally get what I asked for in the first place!! :wallbang:
