*update* Neuter making him worse?! How's this possible

I really hope you keep trying with him. I think when he finally comes around, he will be your favourite - it seems the harder you work for something, the greater the reward.....

I agree with Joanne. It took Pinto 3 months after his neuter to be "nice". But he made up for it after, always wanting to be in my shirt and giving kisses.

I think Dudley Do-bite took 2 months post-neuter, but he became the most loving rat with me once his hormones cleared out and he learned to trust. I sang to him and he would listen while in his cage. When he came out, I had a basket he learned to hop into so I could take him to the couch. Then one day I offered the back of my hand, he sniffed gently with no huffing or issues. I managed to get him into my arms with little use of hand/fingers and he cuddled down and let me pat him. then I kissed his big broad head... I still miss him. :heart:
