You don't have to throw them out! As long as there is a bit of fabric left then there is always something else that can be made out of them! My old chewed up liners get made into hammocks or sleep rags if they are beyond hammock making and old hammocks get made into goodie pillows (you know, fabric sewn around cheerios or something of the sort). This way, I can enjoy fabrics forever!!!!! I have some pretty brutal chewers and I have only ever thrown out ONE hammock. The rest were made into something "new" lol.
So you could always make good things out of old chewed up "bad" things
AND THEN get more hammocks :giggle:
Hey, you are giving me ideas! So far I have used old hammies as undercloths, as cloths in a fishing bin, and as burial shrouds. I can't sew my way out of a paper bag, so I am unlikely to make anything fancy. There is no way that I can bear to throw out any of my javakittie liners, so I will find a use for them as they get shredded beyond recognition.
.... and, then, I will
BUY MORE HAMMOCKS!!! Nickelrat, get your sewing machine ready.
