You reacted faster than most, your babies are not real babies, but young rats so this should help as well, and they do look good...keep tempting Templeton with foods he likes.

Geeze, I have one busy day at work and barely touch chat and miss all this :( sorry I wasn't there to chat with you too. How are your boys today? I agree, you have acted very fast and I am sure they will all be fine.

They are doing good today. The girls are still hyper as all get out, pika is still evil and not any fun to give meds to...she squeaks as soon as you touch her once she see or smells it :laugh4: then it takes everything i have to hold her, she fights with every ounce in her. about half of them half lumps forming, or small ones but no eye issues on any of them. They are only sneezing.

Templeton snatched a cheerio from me, so he is feeling better thank god... he was so cranky yesterday and refusing food, but he just jumped from the table chair to my shoulder so he is much better. His eye looks a lot better too the cloudiness looks like it is all gone. Ludo eye was buggy last night so we are watching his eye and giving him drops. Their coats are rough and wirey but they are not puffed up like they were yesterday

Edgar's lumps who was the first to have them and the biggest, have went down a lot in the last 24 hours. Barts sneezing has came to a stop almost. The biggest problem i am seeing is weight loss but we will give them extras to make sure they are getting enough.

templeton, loki and ludo :)

The scary part about this virus. the symptoms are so minor, they can be explained by other things easily. Unless something major happens, then it is more noticeable. I think we got lucky because we don't have URI's running through us right now, not major ones. half was on meds already so only templeton suffered for a few hours.. he was by far the worse one.

8 days into the meds, i am so tired of giving meds to these guys. It seems the more days we do it, the more they learn to fight me on it. The girls fight so bad, they get it on a spoon with a mix of whatever i have to bribe them with. The boys get with syringe because it took entirely to long to medicate each one individually.

pika taking meds the hard way..

Templeon's eye is a better, still red a bit but the cloudiness is gone. his lumps seems pretty much gone. It took them days to get back to a good appetite but they are there now. I think the neuters and feeling better is kicking in on his group, they are getting to like coming out a lot more lately. Finally back to eating normally.

Toby has a horrible sore pop up, it is finally healing there was nothing abscess about it, it was literally a sore. his cyst, got cleaned out, eww really dont know how anyone does that... :sick2:

his back was peeling too, i am not sure if it is a hairless thing or what was going one, i wiped the sore down a couple times a day with this wash now it is just a little spec.

Loki had that sore on his foot and one on his testicle, that i am now watching, I dont know what he got into. or if this virus has weakened their whole system.

Bindi's abscess came back with a vengeance but it looks like it is finally coming to a head with the compressions, it was gone just a little rough spot that I thought was scar tissue from it, as soon as this hit, it started growing when the meds started.

Skittles has scratches on her wrist, she is either emo, or pika has got her. :cheeky:

edgar's lumps which started on march 8th are finally going down, it is really tiny now

Bart has a large lumps still but his didn't start till the 13th so I guess it takes time for those to go away.

the girls really had no major symptoms, they almost all had tiny lumps but they did not progress into the large ones the boys had.

No sneezing at all from any of them :joy: nobody else got sick like my poor templeton, who is fine now gaining weight back. I hope i never see him looking like that again.

I have been debating using maybe revolution on them, i have some here but they are on doxy and baytril so I would rather hear it is ok. i don't know how else to explain random sores they are getting.

Finley is fulling living with toby's group, 6 in total in there now. The intros were iffy at first, but Toby has been a good alpha not like how Templeton was just plain mean. Everything you told me jorats was put to good use with them :) and I am planning on trying the other boys slowly if not the girls, either way they will be in a bigger group now that the evil was removed lol. Finley is a little strong minded boy so it worked in the end with him, he sleeps with the other hairless now, and he plays with the black rats :) no longer the loner rat in the mouse cage that he was.

dopeys behind, and finleys cute little face

Here are all the boys... not fully starting the intros yet, but dopey seems to not be as nervous around Templeton but in two more weeks, i will test it again.

Looking good :) So glad to hear everyone is feeling better and your new nekkid is settling in with a group :) The group shot is so sweet...nothing like a bunch of rats all together.
