Sadly the wild wonder Willow has reached the end of her journey here. She has an apointment tomorrow morning to join her sisters at the Bridge. The final sign for me was something I don't understand but know it's not good, so I wanted to ask you all.
What does it mean when a rat starts distroying their tail. I have no idea what else to call it. I noticed it Friday night. It started off small, then Saturday was a little worse and yesterday was a bloody mess. She has nearly chewed her own tail off. I was going to take her in this morning so she wouldn't suffer any longer, but they couldn't take us until tomorrow. T.T But what does it mean? Why would she do such a thing?
I know it is time. She has been blind for a while now, and has recently gone deaf, now this. She is 3 + years (39 months.) I have loved my wild wonder all I can. It is time to set her free. :sad3:
