Hi, so of course on a night I have to go for a sleep study something is wrong with cow. Her stomach is swollen on the right side and she hasn't been herself, acting very lethargic but still taking food. She did have surgery about a month/two ago to remove a mammary tumor on the same side but it feels soft and squishy so I don't think it's realated. she was doing owie stretches last night so I gave her some metacam and she seemed much better this morning so I thought it was just gas, and the swelling was a little better, but now she's very lethargic again and I can tell something is really bothering her. if she gets any worse were going to go to the evet but I didn't know if anyone had any ideas what it could be, what I should look for ect. the only other thing I can think of is that she just started baytril and doxy a few days ago and the doxy smelled funny so I only gave her one dose, but the regular vet has not been in since then for me to ask her about it. Could an antibiotic that went bad cause a reaction like this? It's been hectic lately , with losing Ralph, and I'm at a family function right now that we couldn't get out of posting on my phone and will prolly be cancelling the sleep study tonight, and am so worried bout her.
