My Living World glass bottle would empty out into the cage the moment I put it on. I just don't like glass bottles. I love the cheapos from WalMart, the bigger the better.

I love the glass water bottle because I just boil it, rubber gasket, drinking nozzle part and all (I separate the gasket from the nozzle), once a week instead of scrubbing it out with a bottle brush, which I find to be a real pain in the behind. So much easier to boil it, and it sterilizes the bottle and it's parts.

One of my main reasons for getting this bottle. That, and there's 0% chance that anything will leech into the water from the bottle itself. I'm not a huge fan of the whole plastic water bottle thing, for any species.
That being said, where can I find a high-quality (reliably functional) glass bottle? The only ones I've been seeing in stores are the Super Pet ones.

If you want to try the lixit one, you should find it in the bird section of petsmart or other pet supply stores. It's called "heavy duty chew proof" bottle for birds. It's got a thick blue base and a little green turtle in the bottle. :) It's a great bottle.

I use the living world plastic bottles, its the rats fav.

The spring loaded ones they hate. The glass ones never work and the kaytee cheap ones from walmart always break!
