Sorry, I'm back again with more videos cause my baby is still in distress. -
#1 - shows breathing from the side - (the ticking is a clock in the background, she's not ticking here but you can hear a bad noise from her just as she finishes washing).

#2 - from the side again - when you filter out the clock you can hear her ticking all thru this.

#3 - shot from the top to show her breathing from that angle.

Since I increased the baytril friday she's having some quieter periods rather than being constantly noisy, but she's still easily exhausted and her breathing doesn't look any better.

I'm wondering if this is still agonal breathing? :( We're on day 12 of baytril & erythromycin....

No, you have to remember you are now on Day 3 of the baytril/eryth. It didn't count before with such a low dosage. It takes 4-5 days on proper dosing to see an improvement, and if you are finding her a bit quieter now then thats a good sign.

I'll check the videos in a bit.

I just watched all 3 videos, and I can't hear anything like what she sounded like previously. While she's eating, I think I hear some congestion, but not like before.

Just want to clarify that this is NOT agonal breathing. Agonal breathing is what happens just before or accompanying death. Very slow gasping as the body is shutting down. If someone ever told you she had agonal breathing they were very very wrong...

She looks like she is still hanging in there. Beautiful Summer.

I think you meant coastal breathing, which is the heaving on the sides, which is not too bad.
She looks and sounds better.
She does do a light clicking but it sounds like it's nasal and not from the chest.

Stick with it!! Go Summer go!!

Yeah, I guess I used the wrong word, both are new to me. I'm relieved that others think she is doing ok, I'm just so worried, she's been suffering increasing unwellness for 2 months now, I've never had a young one get worse on meds before she got better.
Thankyou.

I think her breathing is not as compromised as well, and the fact that she is eating and drinking in the video's... also a very good sign. :D
Positive thoughts for you and Summer!
