Offer her a yummy treat each and every time you need to reach in for care for her, this may help and hopefully stop her from biting you. Poor thing must be so scared.

I'm sorry neither of you are going to have an easy go of it. After Alfreds neuter I was using warm saline compresses to bring any infection to the surface (he had a rough time and a gaping hole), that will help loosen the gunk up too. it's a loss less traumatic than runing them under the tap or putting them in the sink cause he could lay in my lap and lick at some yogurt of something - if that would be ok for Bella.
I'm sure the meds will help her to heal better too. I hope no more complications for you both.
