One of my new rats has a bit of phorphyrin on her nose and is sneezing a lot. She is still wandering around, eating, eyes bright. We had to move her cage recently and I don't know if the change has her feeling a bit funky or if i should rush her to the vet? I listened to her breathing; since her nose is wet it sounds a bit wet That I can hear, but Other than that she sounds good.

the new room is a bit chilly, i cut off the vents to lower the drafts already, so beside a heater im not sure what else i could do. And i know a heater could lead to really dry air. If you have any tips that would be great! Her sneezing has gone down as well! She is still sneezing but it’s not as aggressive as it was and her breathing sound much better.

It may have been just the stress of changes the past few days. Her breeder sexed her incorrectly and I had to remove her male friend and place her in the separate room. I’ll keep a close eye on her but now that things have settles down she seems to be adapting better.
