Awww, I'm so sorry you lost her. It sounds like she's been fighting for a long time.
You can keep her in the freezer indefinitely - I have kept my ratties for the winter, until the ground thawed so I could bury them.
I wrapped them up all snug and cozy and would say hi to them whenever I was in there...
