Vet gave us Baytril and Doxycycline {in cherry syrup!} to give twice daily for 14 days.
Sherlock didn't like the syringe, it was a little bit of a struggle - but she drank the medicine okay, perhaps even tolerated/liked it. I gave her the Baytril first, and she pooped six turds : (. I then tried to give her an almond, but she wouldn't accept it from me. Mum gave her the almond, and then we realized that we also had the Doxycycline to give her - so mum did that for me. It's not that I don't mind giving the medicine, but it's how she... wouldn't take the almond from me, afterward.
Will she get used to this? Will she trust me again?
