Finally I am back, well somewhat. I thought it was just my phone, but I borrowed my Gram's comp and it still won't let me into my main account. Jo, anything you can do there?
Back to little Ivy and her poor eyes. Got the Yesterdays News stuff yesterday and am going to clean the cage and change everything up with it here in a bit. So we don't know how that is going to help yet. I know it has been ages, but I am disabled and unable to drive. I had to wait or a ride, and my mom was too sick to take me out until yesterday.
Yes the vet gave her a clean bill of health. She seems to be ine other than her eyes. Yes I agree it is strange that the vet didn't recognize it as porphyrin, but then again the vet isn't the most trust worthy, but is the only one around that sees ratties. He may have well known what it was and just wanted to charge more or the meds he gave us or the "cuts."
The cage is 5 ft tall by 2 ft sqaure. It was actually supposed to be a ferret cage rom Super Pets, but it works very well or the 3 girls.
As or stress, there is none that I can think of. There is no smoke at all in the home, no one smokes, I no longer burn incense (because I know they are sooo sensative.) Other pets yes, but only two cats, and the cats are afraid of the rats, cause they are so curious about them. Loud noises, I don't like noise myself, so it's fairly quiet.
I just don't know what it could be. I have tried to make their lives as good as I can. It upsets me so much that this is happeneing. Hopefully later after I change the litter thing will be better. We are also going to try the material. Like I said, Mom has been sick, so I haven't been able to do much at all.
