darn it! I cannot view it...the SonicWall has blocked that site as "pornography".

How badly is it bleeding? Call the vet and ask if they can fit him in today.

Not bleeding too much, just looks really bad because its poked out I have him ini a small cage on blankets now. Waiting for a call back from the vet ..I dont think Dr. D. is in today ..........

Yeah it is strange looking bulging out like that but I think I would keep him on clean bedding in a small cage...and wait for his surgery...it is tomorrow right?

If he cannot get done today, he should be fine until tomorrow...Tanis was able to email me the pic (saved it and attached it is how i can view them), and it doesn't look wonderful but if the bleeding is stopping, it seems more like a tear in the skin (which can become so stretched and thin from a tumour like that) and not the actual tumour rupturing. Is he on abs?

vet called back said keep him in a small cage on blankets and keep it clean ...very small treaces of blood where the tumor is being dragged ..yes surgery is tomorrow, and no he is on no abs, he never gave me anything yesterday at the consult.

I do have baytril pred and doxy here though. He weighs aprox 520 with the tumor attached.

I got such a fright when I go up to this! ..I'v never delt with big tumors before, only small mammary ones.

Should I let Badger go in with him, or not? ..where the tear is, is under the tumor where it is dragged on the ground.

Erk, I'm actually surprised it didn't happen sooner, considering that the skin must be stretched pretty thin and lump has been dragged about.

If Badger is a super mellow chap, you might be able to risk them together. I'd let the more knowledgeable folks weigh in first though.

I know Joanne, at least its tomorrow!

I never put Badger back in with Ryder yet because Ryder is sleeping and now I have to go to work ..my bf will home in a few hours, he will take them out together then. I want to try to keep him from moving much ..the more he drags it the more damage done. He is curled up in a coozygloo right now

Poor baby. I think I'd just leave him in the cage alone, it's just one night. If Badger is a bully I'd be worried like you said, more damage could be done.

Doesn't look too bad. Just looks like the tumour is too darn big for his poor small body and his skin couldn't hold on any longer. :(
