Oddly enough Connor wanted to explore the floor and then wanted to sleep in his cage. He actually climbed up there on his own

This morning after his breakfast he climbed up onto the top hammock and Eli joined him. I am going to delay the leavetaking until Friday when I take Issa in for her tooth trim. I normally ignored those "Look he's doing so much better" feelings, harden myself and take them in. But this time I feel that he won't mind waiting a couple of days. If he worsens today I can take him in tomorrow morning...I have a standing appointment to drop off rats anytime for emergencies, euthanasia's, etc.

So we shall enjoy a couple more nights together.

I  this pic with Eli in the background!

I am relatively new on this forum so I had no clue what RTR meant and kept racking my brain... searched yesterday and found the info. I was looking for. An old rattery... wow! What a story. The rats have certainly come a long way...
Enjoy your moments with Connor... what a squishy Boy! :D

Ditto!!!

Sort of reminds me of Monty Python...
"Bring out your dead, bring out your dead..."
"Here, I've got one here for you..."
"Wait a minute, I'm not dead yet!"
Go Connor!!! Keep on trucking until the last minute!

That totally deserves RPOM!!

OMG I looked up RTR rats and found the original post, poor Eli and Connor and all the others! I'm so glad you guys closed that place down though.

I'm so very sorry hun. Shoot me a message if you need anything, & please give Connor a huge hug & kiss for me. I'm glad he stuck around a little longer to squeeze in a bit more Shelagh & Eli time. That poor little body just couldn't keep up with his spirit. :hugs: to you all. & I'll be sending well wishes for an peaceful passing.
