I wonder if all the prodding and soaking might have caused Rhys more stress which is would make his breathing worse.

Jo, I didn't even get to soak him today, I was going to do it after work and the scab was already gone. I am soo frustrated with his breathing, I just wish there was something more that I could do. Right now I am just leaving him be, because taking him out or waking him up just bothers his breathing...

The poor boy... What meds is he on now?

Just baytril. The vet would not give me doxy, and I have not been able to get him back in...

Bummer... I wonder if you gave them a call and told them he's not any better would they sell you the doxy to add to the Baytril?

If the vet wont give you doxy have you considered ordering it over the internet?
