Hi I’ve had two fancy rats for over a year now and one of them has started to show no interest in their regular food he also seem to be less active in the cage but when he’s out they become very active has anyone else had this problem should I go to the vet or give it a little more time he still has interest in some treats but I’m worried he isn’t eating enough my other rat that is housed with him is completely fine and not having this problem any suggestions? Thanks

You can try to put more enrichment and new things in his cage, and I told someone else this, you can try to soak the food with water, when introducing new food I do this since for some reason animals like this better.

Thanks I’ll try this tomorrow and I’ll add some more enrichment in the morning
