So I am doing everything possible to keep my ratties healthy & happy.
They get echinacea one week, three weeks off.
They get very very little sugar or salt ..if any.
Their main diet is a mixture of Oxbow, Martins & Extrusion ..free fed (but they have to eat all of it before getting any more).
They get a piece of fruit every second day.
A large amount of fresh veggies everyday.
They get one treat a day ..which includes one of teh following:
Oatmeal (dry or cooked)
Dried banana chips (Oxbow brand)
Puffed Rice
Puffed Wheat
Plain Unsweetened Yogurt
My oldest rattie who is around 16 months (not completly certain of her age) gets ensure with babycereal or mixed with her oxbow food. (I know they should start getting this at 18 months, but I am uncertain of her age, I know she is atleast 16 months and she is really tiny so ...)
Once a week I soak their oxbow food in warm water & put a little bit of olive oil in it, to keep a healthy coat.
Nails are cliped every few weeks.
All their laundry is washed in ABC detergent.
They have out time atleast 3 to 4 hours a day.
They are litter trained and I use Fresh & Comfy got bedding and YN for litter in thier litter pans.
They have big spacious cages that are fully cleaned once a week, & toys/shelves washed everyday.
Is there anything else I can give them or do for them? any vitimins I should give them ?
7 of them are 10 months old.
1 is 16 months.
1 is 13 months old.
