I noticed Pumpkin's left eye was a little buldgy looking on Sunday and Monday night it was worse so I took her to the vet on Tuesday morning. The vet gave me Baytril 22.7% does .006 cc. once a day (which I think is not nearly enough) and eye drops Tobramycin Ophthalmic twice daily.

Well it looks worse tonight and she fights me like crazy so it is hard to get the eye drops on her eye, plus i feel like if i fight her to much her eye is going to pop out. =( It is more buldgy and very red around the edges and I can see the swelling of the socket skin.

What should I do?

I also have some Terramycin ointment, Amikacin and Dexamethasone. I don't know the concentration of any of them because it is not written on the vials.

I really don't want to go back to the vet because they just don't listen and only want to take me for all my money and my regular vet is on vavcation until the 30th. But if I have to take her back I will. This vet charged me $27.00 for .42 ml of Baytril. I can get a whole bottle for that price at the local fed store. They are just a rip off!

A bulgy eye can be anything from an abscess to myco.
You're right... the 0.006 seems very small. Are you sure it's not 0.06?
I would keep her on the Baytril... a long treatment could very well do the trick.

It is worse this morning and is cloudy.

Your right it is .06 even then, that seems like such a small dose.

I guess it just has to get worse before it gets better. She acts as if it may hurt so I gave her some Metacam this morning. Hoepfully that will give her some comfort. :(

I really hope it looks a little better by the time I get home from work tonight. Otherwise I will take her back to the vet in the morning. It looks so painful to me. But she is a trooper and is acting normal other than she doesn't want me to touch her face, which is understandable.
