The vet called about 20 minutes ago to let me know that she came out of surgery a-OK. :joy: I'm absolutely ecstatic.. the third chapter of her life begins today. It breaks my heart that Clover isn't here to reap the benefits of a spay with us but I know she's happy for her best friend; we'll all meet again someday.

I hope that she eats her watermelon and blocks like a champ, I'm going to call before I go to work or an update. They couldn't give me a partial bottle of Metacam so I bought the whole shebang for about $45. It'll certainly be nice to have it on hand! Next time I have cash I'm going to ask to do the same thing with some Baytril.

Does anyone know where I could buy some mini syringes in bulk? After a few washes the ones I get from the vet lose their measurement markings.

For fun.. the wee lady in question.

Thankyou everyone for the positive vibes and well wishes! :cuddle: I checked the incision briefly and it's quite small. My brother said she ate all the watermelon but refused the blocks.. spoiled bum. :giggle: She's hanging out in my blankets right now and it feels so good to see my little girl again safe and sound.

I'm sure Dr. Gerena would have no problem giving you some more syringes. She was in good hands. :)
