Pinky has an abscess

My new nakie boy Pinky somewhere last night got a few scabs and and a rise on his flank about 1/3 of a golf ball. I can't take a pic cause he won't sit still and I tried all evening. I called his Vet but missed him. Since I have to be at work tomorrow I'm hoping they will see him Saturday. I don't know if they are even open cause its the July 4th weekend. Have an suggestions of what I can do? So far he doesn't seem in any pain.
I know this is fast and short but I was in a rush writing this.

You could do warm compresses and see it will pop.

Compresses should be done a few times a day and it can sometimes take over a week of compresses.
