im wondering if he had heart failure or something. he was fine until a few weeks ago (when i started this post), he had dramatic weight loss, was fine until yesterday afternoon and then went down hill rapidly after that. i don't know what else it would be. his breathing sounded fine the vet said the other day, but he still had clicky breathing occasionally and was lethargic all the time.

i don't know Mu won't come out the house where he was laid for the past day. i don't think shes a happy bunny

ive been awake for an hour laid wondering if i should dismantle the top half of the cage (its the same as an FN/CN) and just have the lower half. With only two rats now it might make cleaning easier im not sure though

Give yourself some time Ryelle...unless you feel this is part of your acceptance, to make changes. I have done that as well...just forged ahead. But if you're not sure just leave it until you are feeling less hollow and more yourself. ((hugs))

I remember all the funny Patrick stories from last year when I first joined the shack. Many hard core laughs came from this man rat. He will be missed by so many members.

thanks Maple. he caused such a riot in this house that he will never be forgotten.
We changed the cage yesterday. My boyfriend is amazing. He was there for Patrick on wednesday, and yesterday he was there for the girls. he helped me sort the cage and he decorated it (he even told me to get away from "his" cage with my boring ladder ideas whilst he made ramps from tubes lol). i feel a bit lost today :/ i have to go and pay for the vet visit on wednesday today. i hope my favourite vet is there so i can discuss things with her, it might make my heart feel not so heavy
