I wonder what the strenght of their Metacam is in Europe. For the stuff we get here, .5ml would be a huge dose.

Does it say anything on the bottle or the box about what amount of Metacam per millilitre?

it could be the .5 mg/ml unlike our normal 1.5 mg/ml

For a 230 gram girl dosing at the new 1 mg/kg, with metacam that is .5 mg/ml, I get a dose of .46 ml

The box says 0,5 mg/ml.

I haven´t seen her doing owwie stretches today, but I just woke up..
I´ll call the vet for advice, then give her the medication.

the metacam we have here is 1.5 mg/ml which means a dose of .17 compared to your .5 ml. It was throwing people off, but I had heard of that concentration of metacam before.

She should be fine. She may not need the metacam today as the worst is over for her (cramping).

I think I´ll give it to her today and see tomorrow how she is.
I was told go give it at least 3 days. Today is day 3 i guess

How is she now?
She is fine.
She is off the pain meds(Saturday was the last day pain meds was needed), and she is healing very well.
If she don't get the all clear on Friday I don't understand anything..

I think so.
She has a wound on her neck tho, that I have no idea how she got..
It's very shallow, but big.. The only thing I can think of is that she scratched a lot when she was waking up from the spay, before she could feel anything.. she had long claws..

That should heal up fast enough too. But it is strange how it got there. I don't know if her own scratching could do that.
I don't know either, but it's pretty much where she scratches, she has NO other wounds and is not scratching more than normal..
I have the vet take a checkup on all of them for anything that's contagious when she's due for her checkup tho.
(There is a rat partything here next saturday, so I'm considering to bring one or some of my rats..)

I think it looks better IRL..(surgery wound pic)
