Bad news - the appointment got cancelled because the Dr won't be coming in today. I rescheduled the appointment to Monday. The animal hospital in Hamilton is also fully booked :( I don't know if this is a wise decision but I would rather see someone who has experience treating rats, especially PT, rather than some vet who has little to no experience with the same situation.

Any thoughts?

Is there anything I can do to ease her pain till Monday?

aww I am so sorry, even though it hurts shes not uncomfortable anymore and never will be ever again :cuddle: I've lost 3 rats to a PT and when it drags on its a very horrible thing to experience them loosing themselves like that. Just know that a lot of people including many trained vets believe that PT are completely painless for rats even when they seem to look so miserable. All my 3 looked physically horrible but never seemed to indicate any sign of pain what so ever..I think their nervous system shuts down to help them deal with the condition. Your baby knows you did all you could :cuddle:
