So I got a new rat a few weeks ago, Dudly. He's very sweet, and the intro's went great. There wasn't a single scuffle or fight.
So last week I moved them into the cage together, and things again have been great, as far as lack of fighting. But the other boys don't really seem to be accepting him. I don't know if its him, or them, but I don't think I've ever seen them groom him, and they are never snuggling together. He is usually just in the top of the cage all by him self, while everyone else is in a hammock.
Right now, Dudly is in a cube all by him self, and 3 of by other boys are in another hammock, and 2 others in a pocket hammock...

I am just worried that he is un happy.

I'm assuming the other ones have lived together for a while? In my experience it takes a while for the odd one out to get integrated. I remember. when I got my boy Hurley it seemed to take forever before he became part of the group.

Its like they read my mind! I woke up this morning, and seamus is grooming him, and they are snuggling now. :D

He's so funny, He bites through the bars, but not hard... but if I leave my finger there he will slowly bite harder... and then he stops and lick my finger and tries again lol.
