NEW Chewing Treats????

I looked at Terra Bones (http://www.pethealthandnutritioncenter. ... errabones/) for the heck of it and found they were awesome but the protein was a little high at 7.5%. I think Z Ridge bones are probably still among the best.

Oh yeah I've looked at the Terra bones too... great for dogs but as chewies go, a little higher protein for the ratlets. Still not terrible though. I don't think the come as TINY as the Zridge bones though, who's toy dog size is perfect for ratties to fight over... I just break them in half (or, get Mike too, LOL) and each rat gets a half.

If the protein is under 10% and fat very low, like under 5% then it's ok as a treat or chew toy. I wouldn't give it too many times though. I give the occasional edible nylabones... my rats go crazy with those.

Lol, I break my little rattie's treats in half, but it never works. Nibbles finishes first then steals it from Sprite. :thud:
