Need vet recommendation in KW or Hamilton area

My rat is sick and she probably has pituitary tumor. It's pretty bad timing because tomorrow is Canada's day so I don't know how many places will have open appointment slots for today or the weekends. I already have an appointment at Mitchell Animal Hospital in KW for Monday, but if I could get her into another vet earlier would be great.

I already called Gagemount Animal Hospital in Hamilton, but they can only take appointments for Tuesday.

I want a vet who has experience handling rats and treating PT.

Yes I did. I ended up going to Dr. Gerald at Mitchell Animal Hospital in Kitchener. He was amazing.

Anyway, my rat is now resting in peace :heart: Thanks a lot

Dr. Gerald is our rescue vet and on our advisory committee. In the past month he's done about half a dozen surgeries for us, ranging from an enucleation to neuters to tumor removals and a large abscess draining. He's also put to sleep 8 of our rats in the past two months. My rescue would definitely recommend him to anyone in the area. We're in Guelph and we drive to go see him at least once a week.
