So willard is on baytril for 2 weeks and my 2 other boys are too(tryed to get longer but she wouldnt let me, said come back if he needs more :? ) and he has improved a bit, hes been on it for about 4 days. but he is staying very sluggish. He eats but only if I give him a salad or the meds in a bit of cake. and he does walk around for a bit but then curls up and goes back to bed all day long. hes not overly breathing hard.. just a tiny bit and he still gets a puffed appearance every now and then. he has lost weight but that was before he was at the vet, he put a tiny bit back on since then but now its staying the same and hes not gaining anymore and he still looks alert when hes up its just it seems the sluggishness is lingering what is going on with him? Im worried somethings going on. Hes on a consontrated form of baytril the vet said its very potent. He takes 0.2cc. They med seem to have worked excellent for legion and constantine but they were not acting as sick from the beginning.

How old is Willard, how long was he sick before you got him to the vet/on abs? What were his symptoms. Why are the other boys on abs too? Because they might "catch it" from Willard? If so, you got your extra baytril for him, because if they aren't showing any symptoms (they have been exposed to him, so would definitely be showing any symptoms by now) they don't need it.

The other 2 were on it because I told the vet I noticed they were sneezing more and a lot of thatred stuff was coming out of their noses but other then that there were no symptoms but they never used to sneeze or leak stuff before. willard was acting a tiny bit funny about a week and some before I was able to get an appointment. he has A LOT of "hiccups" and A LOT of red stop out of his nose, sneezing, loss of energy and wanting to eat and heavier breathing. my poor baby :( I dont know whether its upper or lower, is there a way to tell from symptoms? (oh and since hes been on baytril the "hiccups" have calmed down a lot I think and the red stuff but hes still doing it.)

Oh and willard will be 2 around this November.

:sad3: I think he really needs Doxy. Hes still extremely sluggish but very alert when he wants to be and still will eat a lot of smushy food if its tasty but I just noticed today hes breathing seems a harder, hes pushing it a lot more :sad3: , vet is closed today because of the holiday but the have emergancy hours but I dont know what they consider an emergancy because hes not at deaths door but he will be I think if it goes on, Im just really edgy now because we almost lost him 2 times when he was little and im freaking a bit I still have enough baytril for atleast 2 more weeks but tomorrow im going to call the vet hopefully there is an opening.. wednesdays are the only small animal vets days its REDICULOUS!

the little buggers give me heart attacks lol Willard is known for getting sick on holidays :panic:
