Just curious if you have plans to rework the CN shelf liners now that Midwest has come out with the new no mess pans?

We have been looking at ordering a set of the new shelves due to our old boy, Dominic, being in the early stages of HED, and wanting more shelves in the cage to make the ramping shallower. All liners currently listed in the album are stitched for the original shelves; once we get some of the new shelves we will be testing and hopefully offering both styles.

We definitely emptied our vet fund over the summer, and this project solely funds our rats - so lets get to it, shall we? On three, all ratties living in CN/FN cages will shred their liners to bits, so their wonderful rattie parents will just have to get MomRat fleece! One, Two THREE!

Thought I'd show some photos so everyone can see exactly how these work. Just to convince you if you're waffling. Also, we just ordered the new No-Mess shelves for our CN, so there should be a design available for them in a couple of weeks!

Here is a CN lower tray, you can see that there are no clips or ties, it just stays on like a fitted sheet!

Here is a CN upper tray(with the cutout) in the process of getting a liner:

Finally, Shelves! The fleece goes over the shelf hooks with eyelets and velcros in place...

Leaving you with access to all the hanging hooks underneath!

I wish I could buy liners and stuff that were pretty, but molly likes to chew any liner I put in her cage to shreds, on the bottom floor anyway. she don't chew the top floor one much. Maybe she needs more chew toys???? That's why I use old towels, because if she chews it up after a month *I do wash it though* I just find another one at the thrift store and replace it so she can chew on it more... Perhaps it's also because she wants to make it a nest thing...

I definitely need some of these in hammocks hehe I checked Walmart today and they don't have squat...what they do is insanely over-priced BUT I found out we have a Fabric Land here!!! :joy: The one back home closed up and I thought they all had, but it looked like it was still open! Definitely checking it out asap!!

Gotta go on hiatus again, sorry guys. Final order cutoff for this year is next week, Nov. 16th! Get your christmas orders in, your Secret Santa orders, anything. I once again have a job that is taking me away from home and sewing machine, and won't be able to fill orders again until January 1st. :sad3: Makes me sad, I'm missing out on almost the whole holiday season.

Oh yes, we definitely can do liners for either style of shelves! We have both in our cage now. =)
