Debbie has been refusing food for the most part since Friday ...
I have been forcing her meds in by syringe as her lungs are conjested ... no vets and I don't want her to die gasping.
I've been giving her lasix every few hours ... and rehydrating her ...

This evening she actually licked her meds off my finger in baby cereal ... the first time since early Friday ...

Debbie is such a sweet little girl ... she lays in my arms, her head resting on my arm, her eyes closed, bruxing ... as I pet her head with my finger.

She has rallied several times over the last few days but it is time. :sad3:
I'll be calling vets again tomorrow ...
Debbie was 1 year old in August .... sometimes things feel so very unfair ...

Debbie is still energic, and almost inpossible to get anything in to ... stuborn little girl ...
but she has been enjoying licking yogurt off my finger ...
Have an appointment at 3:20 this afternoon ....
It is so difficult .... she still has so much life left in her ...

It's so hard to think of sweet little Debbie gone. But the last time I saw her, I knew that it wouldn't be long. I have two of her brothers, who look so lively and healthy.

Marsha is no longer willing to eat or take her heart meds ...
Nothing I do makes any difference ....
