ahh... I never knew that about male rats lol. if i ended up not getting them neutered, are the plugs hard to remove? and does it hurt them? lol

Thanks for the help and every ones opinions on male neutering. I decided to go ahead and go with the vet here to do the neutering I was very nervous it was her first time doing the operation and would recommend anyone to this vet. She did an awesome job for the first time ever doing it. He is back to his old self and everything's healing well. I just hope the operation calmed him down enough to be with other rats.

WoW 3 months I hope if this surgery worked he will be showing his calmness before 3 months lol.
Does the aggression disappear over time or is it kind of like over night?
Should I start introductions with him and the other rats that I have in a separate cage very slowly? or should I wait and see if he does calm down.

I'd say most is gradual but there are a few that was instant.
I'd give him a good week of healing and then I'd probably start intros slowly.

Thanks for the information. My male is like a new rat. He's a lot calmer around everybody. The Rat he use to hate he doesn't even bother with anymore. They sniff each other and then go on their way.

Isn't that just amazing! You remove their hormonal stress and allow them to live in peace and contentment.
I'm so happy for you and your little boy.
