So I got my boy sneezers to baby female rats to kee him company. I had them out in a enclosure and two of the females got out. I found them both huddled under the mini fridge I was able to grab one and the other one ran and disappeared.

I've looked everywhere! And feed a camera behind a wall that had a small hole under the heater. Nothing. It's just a one bedroom and I've looked everywhere.

I dont know what else to do, I left a cage out with a bowl of vanilla yogurt. Sighs

That's the most you can do is wait. Make sure her sister is nearby, that might make her come back. My sister's little girl Dee, when she was in her first home was lost for 2 weeks in the walls before she was found again. Today, Dee is perfectly fine.

Oh dear...when a rat is unbonded to you, skitty little babies can run away and they won't know to come back. I carefully bond with my babies before they ever get near the floor (including in a playpen) but you now know this. :undecided:

I take it her sister is in the cage? You will need to use her and the cage as bait, but make sure there's water down, not so much food, as dehydration is more of a worry.

those babies are seriously young, almost too young to be away from mom,so that means they have fluff brains and don't think as much as an older baby would. They are all instincts at this stage.

See I didn't want to put the sister in with the cage cause then the cage would be closed, she's already in the other cage . I guess all I can is wait?

then put the cage with the sister on the ground beside the other one. Her sister is the ONLY thing she is truly familiar with.

Ok well the cages are in the same room so i won't have to do anything. How long do they usually stay hidden for?

Hours, days, weeks...just listen for her, and keep an eye out for her, and pray she didn't go into your walls.

If she hasn't been caught in the next few days (do NOT forget putting a bowl of water down near the cage) but you hear her and see her, you might want to invest in a havahart humane live trap.

I'm afraid so...I never let my babies out on the floor before they were at least 4months old, by then they are bigger, easier for me to spot, and they gradually are introduced to the floor. When they were babies and I was bonding i only let them explore around my bed and their upper cage.

I'm so sorry your little girl is lost, all you can do is wait it out, or set a humane safe trap for her like lilspaz suggested. Good luck, I hope she comes back

I can't stop thinking about this. I feel so bad I just want her back and safe. I think I'm going to cut multiple holes along the wall line to increase the chances.
