Well I couldn't really get a good look without stressing mom out. So I'll check today.
She's been moving them all over. She moved them out of the house and I noticed they were a little cool, so I put a heater close to the cage and they warmed up. Now this morning they're on the other side. She's still feeding and cleaning them, she's just all over the place!

Well! There are 13 active babies today. I would have sworn that baby was a goner, I guess momma revived him.

:joy: So glad that the little one came back to life. Mama must be very organized to keep track if feeding them all.

She impresses me, I sat there watching her for a while and she gives every baby attention and cleaning - one at a time.

Aww One of the light-colored babies looks like he's not going to make it.. I don't know if maybe momma smothered him or what, but he's the runt and was gasping for air, no sign of damage, no mucus or anything around his nose, he wasn't moving anything but his mouth.

Poor guy.

The rest are seemingly fine, and fat. And we do have a hooded one. It's pretty obvious now.

Aw, now don't write anyone off before they are gone. You have to have faith in your little puffle-nut. :love6:

She's a cool cat, she knows who is mine. She's nice to the pet rats, and isn't scared of the 90lb German Shepherd who wants to eat her.

Well, everyone has gone to their new homes.
My niece insisted I keep a little white female, who's been named Eve.

they were beautiful babies. Loved looking at the pictures. Did the little runt ever catch up?

Yes he did - a lady had me hold him for her, and just stopped answering me, and then started ignoring me, the day were were doing the adoption! So the poor baby was alone for two days until I contacted a lady who has adopted fosters from me before and she offered to take him and integrate him with hers. Most of them went to people I can visit with any time. The two girls who went to my tattoo artist are so happy, everyone who comes through for a tattoo gets to visit them.
