Such a beautiful little boy.

I prayed hard last night - something I don't do too often, really - prayed not that Jake would get well, but just that he wouldn't suffer. I prayed that if he was going to die, that he would go easily, and if he was going to get well, that he would not be in too much pain during his recovery.

It sounds like your prayers were answered the best you were able to have any influence.
I'm so glad for Jake that he went so gently from this world to the next - and that he had such luck in finding such love here.

And Jake, you found what you came here for. So just have fun while you're lighting up heaven, eh?
