So, I just took her home from the petstore. They say she is not sick and she is not on any meds.

I am starting to wonder and 2nd guess myself. She is so happy to be home...running and playing with her friends....and im not hearing the sounds I video taped.

I wish I were a vet so I could acess her myself...dunno what 2 do

I'd keep a close eye on her and if you notice any symptoms take her to a vet. RMCA lists vets in your area and you can always call around to check prices / knowledge at various locations. I'd also see if there are any local rat groups and see who they recommend.

Yea...that was a moment of pure hopefullness on my part. She def sounds sick atm.

When I took her back from the pet store (they made me pay btw....as they refund your money when you bring them in...so even though she is sick I had to pay...ugh) I spent over an hour calling vets in my area to see who treats rats and their prices.

Didn't find anything under $80 for a visit...no one will combine it and look at the other rats to make sure they are okay....and no one had appointments today. :-(

I have an appointment at 5:30 tomorrow...hopefully ill make it home from work without a problem. I don't know what I am going to do if either of the other rats are sick too.... ugh!

On a happy note though, baby girl finally has a name! My son Sean decided her fur is the color of Sand and has named her Sandy. :-D Sandy and Bella seem so happy to be back together. Poor little Ruby is the odd one out (wait...how did my one rat turn into 3? aaah lol) She actually doesn't seem to socialize much with the other two and spends most of her time on the top level of the cage or in the hammock. :-(

I have her tucked into my shirt right now for a little extra love while I do some work.
