Pumpkin has some scabs - very tiny and very buried in her fuzzies almost like little pin prick scabs. They go front front left "elbow" across her shoulder blades and down to the right "elbow" and up onto her neck, but no where else, and my 2 other girls and 6 boys show no signs. I've only had a minor change in food from oxbow back to mazuri b/c they stopped eating the oxbow and I switched from kaytee soft sorb to yesterdays news....any ideas?

Will do! Feline Revolution correct? Which dosage/tube would be best to take care of 6 boys and 3 girls...and dumb question possibly, but what about my hairless girl?...does she get treated as well...sorry if I sound stupid :wallbang: just don't know and can't know til I ask the pros :wink2:

You don't sound stupid at all, these are all good questions. The nakie girl should be done too, even though they don't live in her they will try to feed on her.
As for the amount and dose, I'll let someone else answer that one. Hopefully lilspaz68 will see this, if not, PM her.

I'm making an appointment to buy some Revolution this week so I'll be waiting to find out which is the proper tube. :) Someone brought their dog into my work with fleas and some recent scabbing on Osiris made me realize that I could expose my rats and cat to other types of parasites by handling pets at work. Revo will give me some peace of mind.

What does a box generally cost?

You can use any tubes, only need to adjust dosage.

Someone once said that the best one was the purple box, not to be confused with the mauve. One drop was supposedly sufficient. Where's Lilspaz? Haha.

Yeah, bottle size depends more on the size of your colony than the revolution itself. Theoretically you could dose a single rat from any colour package, but only certain packages will be enough for certain groups :)

revolution dose is 4 to 8 mg of revolution per 454.4 grams of rat (4 to 8 mg /Ib)
The amount you give will vary depending upon the strenght of the revolution (mg) and the weight of the rat (grams)

This usually ends up being a small drop or a large drop, depending upon the size of the rat.
Different tubes contain different amounts of revolution.
The concentration of mg/ml may vary but it didn't in the tubes I have used.

Well, I got my rats dosed today. They used the mauve packet and I was just in charge of parting the fur, the vet tech did the rest. So I'm not sure about dosage but each tube cost $17 here in London.

I ordered mine from petshed.com and they still are not here yet :wallbang: I hate it for my babies b/c now 3 of my boys are showing little scabbies and scratching often...*sighs* maybe they will get here today
