I've been away from the board for a while and didn't see Iris's posts until today. After reading her memorial post, I found this one and just had to read of the fight you and her fought so hard. :hugs:

Having gone through a similar story myself (my Little Blue was approx 9 months old and we only had 19 days with her. We both fought so very hard, and I was utterly heartbroken when I lost her anyway), my heart goes out to you so much. :sad3: :sad3:

I have no doubt in my mind that little Iris knew how much you loved her and fought for her. Her last few days (although far too short) were filled with love and she knew what kindness was. :sad3:
