Metacam has helped Emma immensely with her ear tumour. She no longer picks at it and bleeds everywhere, and she's not nearly as stressed out.

So far I'm not noticing toooo much difference with Brie's attitude towards the other rats but her boggling and bruxing has increased. :)

Phoe is indeed very happy with her new little sisters. I didn't even bother with the tub with those three. Just on the bed, and Phoe was wonderful as I expected.

They've had a lot of floor time together as a group and though I'm not hearing as much screaming, they're still not even close to being ready to be housed together. The babies keep bugging Elphie and Brie and just don't back off. :? So I've little sympathy for them, heh. No broken skin so I'm letting them work it out. In the meantime, everyone seems to be matched with who they should be so the worst case scenario isn't bad at all.

Sorry, you all must be so sick of hearing about my girls.

Just a little development tonight. I left both cages open and Brie's moved into the babies' cage - she's dozing in their hammock. Ginny wants to join her but it seems she has to put up with flips within the hammock. I'm interested to see if they work it out...

Elphie's still a little tyrant, but again, no blood.
