I’d like to start by acknowledging that you should never own an animal that you can’t afford to take care of. I am in complete agreement, however due to job loss thanks to COVID, money is incredibly tight. My daughters rat has a very obvious URI. I know that baytrim/doxy combo is the best treatment, but I have amoxicillin on hand. Would that be an effective treatment also?
